The Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing Story in English
Once upon a time, there was a wolf who always wanted to eat sheep. He tried many times to catch a sheep, but the sheep were too fast and too smart for him. One day, the wolf came up with a cunning plan. He decided to dress up as a sheep so that he could sneak up on them without being noticed.
The wolf found a sheepskin and put it on. He practiced walking and talking like a sheep until he was sure he could fool anyone. Then he set out to find a flock of sheep.
When he arrived at the flock, the other sheep were wary of him at first. But the wolf acted very friendly and started to chat with them. He pretended to be very interested in their lives and would ask them questions like, “How do you graze all day without getting bored?” and “What do you do for fun?”
The sheep were happy to have a new friend and they welcomed the wolf into their flock. The wolf was thrilled! Finally, he had his chance to eat as many sheep as he wanted.
But one day, the shepherd noticed something strange about the new sheep. He realized that this sheep was not like the others. The shepherd quickly grabbed the wolf and pulled off his sheepskin.
The other sheep were shocked to see that their new friend was actually a wolf! They had been fooled by his disguise. From that day on, they never trusted anyone who seemed too good to be true.
The wolf was chased away and never returned to the flock. The sheep learned a valuable lesson about being cautious and not trusting strangers too easily.
So, the moral of the story is: Don’t judge a book by its cover. Just because someone seems friendly and harmless, it doesn’t mean that they are. Always be careful and cautious when dealing with strangers.
