The Ugly Duckling Story in English
Once upon a time, on a farm in the countryside, a mother duck was waiting for her eggs to hatch. One by one, the eggs hatched and beautiful little ducklings emerged. But there was one egg that didn’t seem to hatch, and the mother duck began to worry.
After what seemed like an eternity, the egg finally cracked open, and out came a strange-looking duckling. He was bigger than the other ducklings, and his feathers were gray and scraggly. The mother duck was shocked and disappointed, and the other animals on the farm made fun of him for being so different.
The poor little duckling was very sad, and he felt alone and rejected. He didn’t fit in with the other ducklings, and he longed for a place where he would be accepted and loved.
One day, he decided to leave the farm and set out on his own. He wandered through the countryside, searching for a place where he could belong. He met many animals along the way, but none of them accepted him because of his appearance.
As winter approached, the duckling became weaker and weaker, and he was on the brink of giving up hope. But one day, he stumbled upon a beautiful swan on a pond. The swan was so beautiful that the duckling was in awe, and he immediately knew that he was in the presence of someone very special.
To his amazement, the swan welcomed him with open wings and told him that he was not an ugly duckling, but a beautiful swan, just like her. The duckling was overjoyed to finally find where he belonged and to be surrounded by others who loved him for who he was.
From that day forward, the little swan lived happily ever after with his new family, surrounded by love and acceptance. He learned that beauty comes in many different forms and that it’s what’s on the inside that truly matters.
