The Little Red Hen Story in English
Once upon a time, there was a little red hen who lived on a farm with her friends, a lazy dog, a sleepy cat, and a noisy yellow duck. One day, the little red hen found some wheat seeds in the field and decided to plant them.
She asked her friends if they would like to help her, but they all refused. The dog said he was too tired, the cat said she wanted to take a nap, and the duck said she wanted to swim in the pond.
So the little red hen decided to do it all by herself. She planted the wheat seeds, watered them, and watched them grow. When the wheat was ready to be harvested, the little red hen asked her friends if they would like to help her, but they all refused again.
So the little red hen harvested the wheat all by herself, and she asked her friends if they would like to help her grind the wheat into flour and make it into bread. But they all refused yet again.
So the little red hen made the bread all by herself, and when it was finally ready, she asked her friends if they would like to help her eat it. This time, they all said yes.
But the little red hen said, “No, I will eat it all by myself. I planted the wheat, I harvested it, I ground it into flour, and I baked the bread all by myself. If you had helped me, I would have shared it with you.”
From that day on, the little red hen’s friends learned to help her with her work, and they all enjoyed the bread together. The little red hen was happy, and her friends were happy too.
