The Lion and the Mouse story
Once upon a time, a mighty lion was sleeping in the forest. A little mouse scurried past him and accidentally woke him up by running over his nose. The lion woke up in a rage and caught the mouse in his huge paws.
The mouse begged the lion to spare his life and promised that he would help the lion one day. The lion laughed and let the mouse go, thinking that such a tiny creature could never help him.
One day, the lion was caught in a hunter’s trap. He roared in pain and struggled to get free, but the trap was too strong. The mouse heard the lion’s cries and rushed to help him.
The little mouse gnawed through the ropes and freed the lion from the trap. The lion was amazed that such a small creature could have such a big heart.
The lion learned a valuable lesson that day: even the smallest creature can be a great help in times of need. The mouse and the lion became the best of friends, and the lion promised to protect the mouse from harm.
From then on, the lion and the mouse roamed the forest together, helping each other and enjoying each other’s company. And the other animals in the forest learned to respect the power of even the smallest and seemingly weakest creatures.
