The Fox and the Grapes Story in English
Once upon a time, a hungry fox was wandering in the forest. He had been searching for food for hours, but unfortunately, he couldn’t find anything to eat. His stomach was grumbling, and he was feeling weak and tired.
As he was walking, the fox saw a bunch of grapes hanging from a vine. They looked ripe, juicy, and delicious. The fox’s mouth watered, and he jumped up to catch the grapes. However, he was not able to reach them, no matter how high he tried.
The fox tried again and again, but the grapes were just out of his reach. He thought of different ways to get them, but he failed every time. After trying for a while, the fox got tired and frustrated. He decided to give up and said to himself, “These grapes are probably sour anyway. I don’t want them.”
The fox turned away from the grapes and walked away, pretending that he didn’t care about them at all. As he walked, he tried to console himself, saying, “I don’t need those grapes. I’ll find something else to eat.”
The moral of the story is that sometimes when we cannot achieve our goals, we pretend that we never wanted them in the first place. However, it’s important to keep trying and not give up too easily, as things may not always be as they seem, and success can come with persistence and patience.
